Instructions for Enabling Javascript

PC

Internet Explorer 5 and above

  1. Select Tools from the menu bar and then click Internet Options...
  2. Click the Security tab and then click the Custom Level...button.
  3. Find the Scripting category and click Enable under Active Scripting.
  4. Click the OK button, and then click OK again.

Netscape Navigator 4.77 through 4.79

  1. Select the Edit menu item and then click Preferences...
  2. Click the Advanced option.
  3. Click Enable JavaScript.
  4. Click Enable Style Sheets.
  5. Click the OK button.

Netscape Navigator 6 and above

  1. Select Edit from the menu bar and click Preferences...
  2. Click Advanced.
  3. Click the Enable JavaScript for Navigator check box.
  4. Click the OK button.

AOL 5 and above

  1. Select on Settings menu item and then click Preferences...
  2. Under Organization, click Internet Properties (WWW).
  3. Click the Security tab.
  4. Click the Custom Level button.
  5. Find Scripting.
  6. For Active Scripting click Enable.
  7. Click the OK, Yes, and OK buttons.

Macintosh

Internet Explorer 5 and above

  1. Under the Edit menu, select Preferences...
  2. Under Web Browser, select Web Content.
  3. In the Active Content section, check the Enable scripting checkbox.
  4. Click OK.

Netscape Navigator 4.77 through 4.79

  1. Select the Edit menu item and then click Preferences...
  2. Click the Advanced option.
  3. Click Enable JavaScript.
  4. Click Enable Style Sheets.
  5. Click the OK button.

Netscape Navigator 6 and above

  1. Select the Edit menu item and then click Preferences...
  2. Double-click the Advanced option in the left panel.
  3. Find the Enable Javascript for section in the right panel.
  4. Check the checkbox for Navigator.
  5. Click the OK button.

AOL 5 and above

  1. In the AOL toolbar, under My AOL, select Preferences
  2. Click the WWW button in the left panel.
  3. In the Web Preferences section, click the Advanced Settings button.
  4. Under Web Browser, select Web Content.
  5. In the Active Content section, check the Enable scripting checkbox.
  6. Click the OK button.
