Professional Licensure Requirements

Child Care Licensing - Independent Learning offers courses that meet Wisconsin state licensing requirements for administrators, teachers, teacher assistants in child care centers and family childcare providers. Additional courses to meet CDA (Child Development Associate) requirements are also available. If you live outside of Wisconsin, be sure to check with your state licensing office to verify course requirements.

Wisconsin Teacher Licensing - Independent Learning offers courses that meet Wisconsin teacher licensure and continuing professional growth requirements. If you are currently working toward a degree program leading to licensure, course approval must be obtained from your college or university. Call Student Services if you have questions regarding these courses. For questions about Wisconsin teacher licensure, contact Department of Public Instruction (DPI) Teacher Licensing at (608) 266-1028 or leave a voice mail message at (800) 266-1027. If you live outside of Wisconsin, please check with your state licensing agency for requirements.
