Texts, course packets, and most other course materials may be purchased from MBS Direct.
Orders may be placed by phone, mail, fax, or online. You will be required to supply the complete course number for each course (for example U600-101).

MBS Direct is a privately owned and operated textbook distributor that provides texts and
materials to students registered at many different educational institutions. They have been
distributing materials for Independent Learning since January 2000.

Course Packet
Unless enrolled in an online course, students enrolled in the Independent Learning program are required to purchase a course
packet for each course in which they are enrolled. The course packet consists of pre-addressed
envelopes (used to mail completed assignments to our office) and a course guide. The course
guide explains grading policies and procedures for submitting assignments and presents the course
assignments. It also includes exam and transcript request forms. If after reviewing the course guide you have questions or find that you are missing
course materials, please contact Student Services.
